SPRING PLAY begins in March
.
DBSL aims to provide each player with the best opportunity to develop good soccer skills, team work and good positive attitudes. For that reason, very uniquely for this area in California, DBSL offers different venues where our teams play.
 
ALL STAR level
 
All-Star At the intermediate level, we also have teams that will play all-star signature play. This level of play requires previous experience as well as skills and abilities that make the play safe and challenging as well. Most signature players have had a previous experience in soccer and have skills that will allow them be succesful on the field. For these teams we most ensure that all players in th team are at a level where he/she will be able to perform and participate in such manner that will allow the player to develop his skills as well as to assist the team structure. For safety reasons and for developmental appropiatness, not all players are recommended and selected to play in an all-star team.

COMPETITIVE CLUB Play purely competitive games. These teams are composed of experienced and skilfull players who enjoy and seek competition. The club competitive teams are only approved by the league when the team is 1)made with selected players who were choosen after a careful try-out. 2) Have had a successful season 3) Has a coach who has sufficient experienced to lead a team in competition.
RECREATIONAL level Some teams are involved in pure recreational play. These teams are built with players who are new to the sport or with those who may not like the pressure of competition. Also, the main emphasis for this teams is on the player development and team work.
